Rounding numbers--- We will continue to round numbers and solve estimating word problems. Test will be this Friday. Science The new unit is all about Photosynthesis. Study your vocabulary every night. Your poster project will be due at the end of the week. The unit test will come very soon! Social Studies Have you ever wondered how to successfully read a map? We will continue map reading strategies this week. Also, you will need to learn the state names for the Eastern region of the U.S. We will have weekly test on these regions. Study every night!

This week (Wednesday) we will have our Ordinal Test. Make sure to study how to read calendar events, number vocabulary and the days of the week. Science We are finishing up on our Cells Unit. Monday we will have a vocabulary quiz! Friday we will have the Unit test. After this unit we will study Photosynthesis. Social Studies We will continue to work on the Geographical Terms PowerPoint. Everyone will have the opportunity to present their project to the class. You will have 2 Quizzes this week. So prepare yourself! Math
We will start Cardinal numbers this week. You will also learn how to read calendars and write the dates correctly. We will have a listening test on Thursday. Science Yah!! We will learn about organelles of a Plant and Animal cell this week. This is a long unit so start learning your vocabulary early. Don't forget to use Quizlet to help learn all of your key terms. Social Studies This week we will complete the 5 Themes of Geography book project. Next we will learn Geographical terms and locations of these sites. Your project for this lesson will be a PowerPoint based on all the geographical key terms along with 2 pictures that represent that word. Social Studies
We will continue learning about the 5 Themes of Geography. Math Please continue to practice your listening and speaking skills. This week we will continue reading and saying cardinal numbers.
